Hail all!
Wife and I have been avid tent campers for years and we just finalized a purchase for a Jayco '99 Eagle UD 10. We are very excited. It has been sitting for 5 years. I know it needs a bit of work, at the very least: replace wheels/tires, replace/grease bearings, rear panel does not line up, vertical tension cable is broken, the canvas needs a good scrubbing, and the outside needs some elbow grease as well.

I will post pictures for a before/after record once I have it at its new home.

Congrats on the new (to you) pup! There is something pretty special about a camper once you've put in the work to rehab it and make it your own.

Yours is a pretty regular trajectory for many here on JOF, tenting then discovering getting off the ground, and eventually getting out from under the elements. We tented til I was around 40, had a pup til we hit 50ish, have still been under canvas in a hybrid for nearly 10 years. Can hardly wait to see what we buy for our 60's...

Congratulations! We had a Eagle 12 UDK and loved it. DW made all new cushion covers and matching bedding. We gave it to our daughter when we upgraded to the TT.

You're going to have a great time.

Not sure if this is user error, but I cannot seem to be able to edit my first post. Photos added to photos section of site. Biggest issue is that the rear top plate of the main body is rotted away from a gap between the top and body. It doesnt seem structural to the inside of the camper, but Im pretty sure the body panels attach to it, or used to. I am going to need to scrub the canvas thoroughly, hopefully getting rid of mildew stains. My current main questions:
-What chemicals are preferred to clean the canvas, with a focus on removing mildew stains?
-Any advice on replacing the rear wood, under the full bed or sealing the gap between top and bottom?
