First trip of 2025

We just made reservations in the Greenville, SC area for the first week in Feb. Just to visit family and friends. Also another benefit is the road test for our annual trip to Florida in March.

It's so stinking cold this week and we have winterized the rig and will likely have to put some furnace heat on it this coming week. The park we usually go to was booked up for Jan thru mid March so we are going to Ivy Acres which is our 2nd favorite park in the area.

We had to cancel our first trip. We were heading down to the Tampa area to see the manatees. Supposed to be several inches of snow here Tuesday and high teens Wed morning. Us country folks have to let the water drizzle to keep pipes and wells from freezing.

Seems like there would be a better way! We don’t have much experience with freezing pipes except when you do, but it’s not that often.

We turn our city water off and power down and drain our well pipes and have a heated pump house.
Nothing can stop us from Florida in Feb- March!
