I have a Jayco featherlite 25rb. I would like to strengthen the floor before I have issues with the vbd flooring. Just wanted to see if someone has overlayed with a snap laminate flooring and how does it do. Thanks

Made this to go between the step and the frame for my jayco, the step was only hung by 2 bolts on each side from the flooring. There's 3 carriage bolt holes in the step, this will bolt there at the "v" and to the frame at the open side of the "v". Got one side done, have the other side of this step to do yet and make 2 more for the step by the 2nd door. Had a lot of flex on it at the back side of the step ("below the handle side of the door") this took that right out, much better already than it was with just the one new stiffener in place.
PO owned this camper from 2012 and has been dealing with it all that time just by piling boards under the step.
Just tightening the step to the bottom of the floor with its original hardware helped some before I made and installed that bracket shown. Don't know why that step was just hung from the flooring and not tied to the frame from new in the first place.
I had the welder out working on my project truck anyway...

A couple threads of repairing the floor. I gotta do this to mine at some point.

I don't think snap laminate flooring will give enough strength. I've tried different products with no luck.

Nope. Whether linoleum or snap together fake wood will have anything to do with floor strength. It's what's under that that matters.
