forever rv roof coating

I bought the same rubber roof coating from home depot at around 250 dollars. I was a little Leary about using a power washer on the roof, but once I got started it was no big deal. It did a beautiful job and so far after 3 years it still looks like new. I bought 5 gallon not knowing how much I would need. Ended up using about 3 on my 32 foot 5th wheel. Had plenty left over to do my enclosed trailer.

Could you post the name of the product you purchased at Home Depot? Also how many coats did you apply?

mohok1 all I did was use my pressure washer and plain water.

Does it roll on "thick"? Thick enough to cover minor imperfections? It looks great!

first coat you just roll on enough to hear the tackiness of it, second coat roll on thicker and yes it will hide slight imperfections.

Do you have a link to the sealer you bought at Home Depot? They sell a few different brands.

This lists it is designed for Asphalt roofing...doesn't mention elasticmeric roofing material which most RV's have. Also I was told not to use Silicone anywhere....ummm

If you go into the details of the product it is recommended for epdm and pto roofing. It is the only product they sell approved by Henry for RV roofs.

Don't buy or use this product if it worries you. I called the company because I have a epdm rv roof. I would use this product again in a minute. Good luck with your project.

Ziptie, I need to have a place repaired on my roof and the company uses Forever RV coat. How is your roof holding up? Would you use a different product if you had another roof to coat?

Roof is holding up well, easy to clean, just slippery when wet. yes I would use this product again.

my friend did his slide out. He said slide seals squeal when slide moves in or out.
