Site looks great! Noticed too that I somehow became a senior member and moderator overnight too

At first glance I REALLY LIKE IT. I'm sure whatever twurking....LOL! sorry I meant to say "tweaking" the site needs the computer guru's will fix.

Thanks for all you do to keep this site available!!!

Can't figure out how to embed a photo in a post. Won't allow me to select photog from local device location, only asks for http link

I like the location of " new posts " down the side and always on top of the page.

I Liked when you could see who the last new post was from ( user info )

( or at least from my IPad, and through the full site )

There are a couple of ways to do this.

The simplest is to click on the new posts link on the upper nav bar. You will see all threads that have been updated recently.

The next is to use the advanced search (also on the upper nav bar) Click on Search and then look on the drop down menu for "advanced search". You can configure the advanced search in several ways.

That is exactly what I had set up. I had an "Advanced Search" set up to retrieve all threads with new posts in the last week. This allowed me to ensure I don't miss anything. Because I view JOF on multiple devices and the threads get automatically flagged as read as soon as they come up I frequently miss threads I have not read. The solution was go retrieve all threads in the past week. The search now errors out because it complains that there are no search terms. Well there won't be any search terms on a general date based search. I believe this is a configuration setting that the forum owners can modify to allow blank or wildcard searches up to a certain limit i.e. you can't allow select all content that would be ridiculous but you can allow all new posts in xx days.
Thanks,
Michael

No...when uploading images, we previously had a choice of "URL" or "search" (upload from your computer)....now there is only an option for "url"

See post #34 in this thread...sounds like the same issue.

Thanks!

You should be able to upload attachments from your computer to your posts.

Click "go advanced" in the reply editor. Then you will see the full formatting options. You can click on the paperclip icon or scroll down to see "manage attachments.
