2020 317rlok How do we bypass fresh water tank? We just bought this camper & picked up this weekend and went straight to camp site and hooked up to city water. I have all dials set per manual but it’s filling fresh water tank and we don’t want it full for trip home (10 hr drive). Our old 2002 jayco 325bhs didn’t have all these fancy gadgets and i can’t find in Manuel how to bypass fresh water tank. Help!

Sounds like you may have a bad check valve or some debris stuck in it, on the water pump and it's letting water bypass back to the tank. Set it as if you would for the tank and run the pump. It may clear out any debris that could be causing it.

Is it normal for the fresh water tank to fill when hooked to city water? We drained the fresh tank night before last thinking was old water but when i switched all white blue black red and green knob things back to city water the fresh water tank filled up again. Am i making sense? How do we use city water without filling that fresh water tank. Like is green what determines what goes into the fresh tank? I feel like one of those needs to be turned a way to bypass fresh tank. We had a separate inlet on our old 2002 Jayco for fresh water tank. We do not need to be hauling this full water all way back home

Based on the picture my guess it's the black. Make sure you have it all the way up, looks like it may be slightly angled down. As I said earlier it could be a small amount of debris in the check valve on the pump. (The outlet side of the pump and the fresh water line are directly connected) Set your valves for "DRY CAMPING" and run the pump to pull water from the tank to see if it will clear it out. It is not an unusual occurrence, Otherwise you may need to replace the check valve or possibly even the pump. Just drain the tank before you head home.

Thank you for your help Grumpy! The campsite we left this morning filled over night and so did water pressure with over full campground! My shower was awesome with stuff turned to dry camping! We’re gonna stop north of Atlanta for night and I’ll see if using the fresh water to get tank empty helped!

Grumpy! You were right. We set up tonight and i took camper off dry camping when hooked to city water and the fresh water tank is staying 1/3 full so whatever debris was blocking is gone!! You rock!! I’m loving this camper if we can get all bugs fixed and figure it out. Idk where WiFi thing is to get app for my phone and bathroom outlet doesn’t work but fuses are good. Hubby will get it figured out tho! Appreciate your help!

Your bathroom outlet, along with any outlet outside or close to a water source will be a GFCI (often daisy chained for up to five outlets). If there are TEST and RESET buttons on one of them, with the trailer connected to power push the RESET button to see if power returns. If you don't have the buttons you may have a GFCI circuit breaker in the power distribution panel that needs to be reset. (Flipped off, then flipped fully on).

I don't think the 5 outlet thing is a limit in RVs...I have way more than 5 on one GFCI

The WiFi gateway is located in the ceiling above the bed, if it's installed. If it's not installed then there will be a round plate with the Winegard logo on it. As I recall, there are two GFCI receptacles on that rig, one in the pass-thru and one on the dinette side of the kitchen island. You didn't mention anything not working in the Kitchen so I'd suggest you check the one in the pass-thru.

Thank you, we checked the GFCI and they’re good. The ceiling fan doesn’t work but switch isn’t getting power to it. We have electrician friend that’s gonna trouble shoot it for us. Maybe he can figure out the bathroom outlet too and bed reading lights. Those are working either 🤣 and did i mention the slide is malfunctioning. The schwin one everyone hates to work on. Went out crooked 1st time we set up and dealer sent repair guy(that was in Florida where we bought it) but when we went to leave 2nd camp site in georgia it wouldn’t pull back in so had call another repair guy $420 later he got it in so we could make our way back to Tn. I need find a good repair guy here in Tn to fix it good cause i have grandkids to take camping!

I've attached the instructions for resetting the Schwintek slides. Your slide controllers are on the front wall of the pass-thru on the drivers side behind the panel that holds the battery cut-off switch. I had to do the reset multiple times on our bedroom and kitchen and finally moved the controllers from behind the panel and put them on the front wall of the pass-thru so they could be easily accessed. Doing it yourself can save you the cost of a technician and the time of waiting for repair!

The procedure is straight forward. You need to determine which controller goes with which slide. Have one person watching the controllers while another moves the problematic slide. This will cause the lights on the controller to blink. Once you know the correct controller you press the Mode button as described at the top of page 6. When you've got the controller in reset mode you move the slide all the way out and back in. Then exit reset mode as described and the motor positions will be reset. Our bedroom slide was more problematic than the kitchen.

Note that your bathroom lights and reading lights are 12VDC and your ceiling fan is 120VAC.

You've got a great rig! We put 100K miles on our 2020 317RLOK before trading it in on a Pinnacle 38FBRK this year! We became snow birds and wanted a little more room in the kitchen and bath. Safe travels!

Ty ClarkeNorman, the 1st repair guy said a screw sheared off and he replaced it but motor was jumping or something. The 2nd repair guy we paid replaced halo something and didn’t put all back together so i have wires showing and trim half way out back on. Hubby is going to attempt to fix stuff himself. The repair guy said those aluminum tracks are worn out and wants to sell us $1500 in parts and said hubby can fix it himself. He rebuilds machinery so it’s pretty good at fixing stuff.

The pass thru outlet looks like bathroom. Doesn’t have a button to push like one on kitchen island. Any idea where else one with button might be? We’ve blow a fuse somewhere we can find cause awnings show offline and won’t retract or extend. Also i have my Rv showing up for WiFi and I put in WiFi password but my screen isn’t bmpro brand and im not seeing Bluetooth to sync to it. Lord i need a class on this 5th wheel. We did get the bedroom reading lights working. They had been chewed thru by whatever was living on this thing and someone had cut wires by slide controller boxes. We got those fixed and lights working now! Yay us but now awnings aren’t working 🤪 gotta laugh or i will cry!

I've attached two files that contain a lot of information about JAYCOMMAND. On page 17 of the first file you will find information about how to pair your phone with the camper. The WiFi router on your camper, if installed, is a Winegard unit and has nothing to do with BMPRO. The router SSID and password are located on a label on the units circuit board. You can slide the cover sideways (I don't remember which direction) and it will come off to reveal the circuit board.
