We just bought a 2010 Jayco. A real upgrade from our 1974 camper.
In the owners manual, it says you can fill your Fresh Water 3 different ways.
#1 Gravity fill, that one is easy. #2 Fill your tank using the City Water connection. We can't get this one to work. #3 Dry Camping. Using the City water Fill, a piece of hose, can of water, and the water pump. Again we can't get this to work either. Anyone have any suggestions or tips. One thing we were wondering about. In the instructions, it says to turn your Water Heater bypass valve to the NORMAL position. What would be the normal position for the bypass valve??
Hope someone can help, as we do a lot of dry camping.

Welcome to the forum Lynneo. Does your unit have a water manifold? If it does then it should have 5 valves to open or close depending on what water service you need, city, siphoning from a container, winterizing, and sanitizing. The normal position for your bypass valve should be open to have hot water. The have city water to fill your tank i think its the two valves on your right need to be open.
