Fresh water pump and replacement, kaput

Well after 2 years my fresh water pump quit and was unable to winterize the trailer. The pump motor was running but no pump operation. Took it apart, nothing obvious to the casual observer. Went to Camping World to get a new one, the exact model that was in the trailer. Put it in, worked great, got the trailer winterized, was draining the last line on the outside shower and that pump quit working. Motor still running, no pumpa pumpa (Sinatra, VonRyans Express).


So what gives, just a bad new one or have folks had issues with Sureflo pumps? Any recommendations on a better brand?

I have a 291rsts 5’r, If I have my valves in the control center in the wrong positions, the pump will run but will not push water.

Thanks for the reply, but as I mentioned, I had finished winterizing with the new pump before it quit, so the valves were already in the right position.
