went to the big box store this morning got what I needed and the project took less than 30 minutes...

That looks really nice. Is that blackboard paint? or maybe magnetic paint under blackboard paint? I think I may try this on my fridge. Thanks for the idea.

Thank you...actually it's self sticking shelving paper...the fridge door service is
22 inches X 27 inches long...the paper is 18 inches wide and 8 feet. I awitched the door surface around as not too mar the original surface...
the splice is completely unnoticeable...will be interesting too see how well it holds up...might have to go w/plan B...haven't decided what that is yet.
