Frigidaire Not Cooling!!

UpstateNYer - I'm just across the river with a vehicle that will pull a 377. PM me if you get to the point that you need me to help out.

Thank you! I really appreciate that.. :)

Hoping a tech will come out and be able to repair on the first trip. I unhooked water line and took out all screws holding it in place. Will slide out on a few 2x4's when/if need be.

Hoping for the best outcome...

You may have a totally different problem with yours than I did.

They normally want to check it out first, before removing it to get behind it IF needed.

Did they find a freon leak on yours? Or just recharge etc?

Frigidaire offered me 3 year warranty for 300.00. May take them up on it....

The second appliance guy they sent decided to replace compressor and evaporator. He however could not braze very well........yeah it leaked all the Freon out and started warming up again. He really didn't do much diagnosis on the refrigerator to begin with.

The 3rd appliance dealer replaced both the compressor and evaporator that the second guy had installed. You could see where he missed on the brazing and where the Freon had leaked all out.

Repair man coming in AM.. wanted access to back

While you've got it out, make sure none of the water lines are kinked. I think some were having problems with low water pressure with the water dispenser and ice maker.

Interestingly enough, I found this in the book.

In addition, this limited warranty does not cover any material, component or part of the RV that is warranted by another entity, including, by way of example, handling, braking, converter, microwave, television, DVD/CD player, radio, speakers, television, refrigerator, range, hot water heater, water pump, stove, carbon monoxide detector, smoke detector, propane detector, furnace or any air conditioner. (Note: The written warranty provided by the manufacturer of the component part is the direct responsibility of that manufacturer).

Just as a data point, our dealer replaced our failed converter and the troublesome Girard tankless water heater with a Suburban tank model under the 2-year warranty without a problem.

Can't find any leaks. He ordered compressor. Said they have been having issues with the Panasonic compressor that unit came with. Variable speed with invertor board on it, replacement compressor is new part number so hopefully this fixes it

If he shows up and starts to install compressor and says they sent the wrong one...........there is a pigtail on wiring harness that needs unplugged to hook up new compressor.
