Looking for some advice. One of the two light strips on the front end cap is not working. Took it off and found two wires sticking out of small hole (see attached pic #1) Trouble is that the two wires are part of the original light strip and they will not pull out any farther to expose the connection I need to get at in order to replace the strip. Thought about connecting a new strip to the two wires sticking out if they have power or making the hole bigger. I could make the hole up to the size of the cover I removed (see attached pic #2) but don't know if it would help or not. Another option might be to work from the bedroom but I didn't see anyway to gain access from the inside. Best option might be to put the old one back on and forget about it. Any advice??

check if they are working would be my first step, then solder or connect replacement strip,

Thanks for the good advice, Learjet. That will be my next move.

Just thought I would let anyone interested know that I got the light replaced with very little effort. Ordered the part from World Wide RV Parts in Mesa, AZ. The light strip was somewhat different than the original but with a bit of modification it worked great. The amber light was a perfect match to the one not replaced. I was pleasantly surprised that they matched perfectly.
