Hey everyone,

So I have a 2015 Pinnacle 36FBTS and I'm having some jack issues. Main issue is with the front right jack. I went to set up and the motor is spinning but the jack seems as if it's disconnected from the motor. It will just fall right to the ground unless I push it up. I need to get inside and see what's going on but I'm not sure how to access the inside area... do I need to go through the battery compartment, the generator compartment, the master bedroom closet? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Second issue is that one of my locking pins on the stabilizer jacks in the middle got snapped off. Does anyone have a link where I could order a replacement for the locking pin? I doubt I'll need to replace the whole jack, but I can't find only the lock anywhere online. Thanks in advance!

JEFF

I don’t know if you have the Ground Control 2.0 or the 3.0, but you finally got the dreaded stripped nut block, where the threads strip cleanly out of the nut from lack of grease.
You can search for lots of failures on here.
You’ll need a replacement jack. This link is for a 3.0. Be glad you don’t have to buy it with the motor anymore like a lot of us had to do.

Chances are you’ll need the other side shortly too.

Thanks for the help, any chance you know how I'd go about accessing the jacks in order to replace them? The front jacks seem to be in a tricky location that I'll need to take some walls out.

Maybe I jumped ahead here.
I had a look at the 2.0, I’ve never seen it before, and assumed it was more similar to the 3.0 than it is.
So your whole inside jack leg is falling down?
You would have to tie it up to travel?
If that happened on a 3.0, you would have heard it happen. It wouldn’t have just snuck up on you.
The motors on the 2.0 are sideways, so I’m not sure how the threaded rod spins on that. The 3.0, the motor is on top and attached directly to the threaded rod.
Your failure “could” be something completely different than what I described. There seems to be more gearing in the 2.0, but getting the jack out seems to be the starting point.
I look at pictures if your model, assuming your talking about the walls of that inconvenient battery compartment. That doesn’t look fun to take apart.
Newer models, you can get to the front jack’s easily.
Wish I could help more..I’ve had 3.0’s taken completely apart multiple times.

As for your pull pin on the middle jack, those are available on Amazon.
