Furrion 3100 DVD Issues

This topic has been discussed before, but I am new to the site and wanted to start a new thread on this. I am getting a disc error whenever I try to play a dvd in my furrion 3100 2-zone system. I have read others on here with similar issues and I have tried to reset the device without any success. Has anyone replaced their furrion similar unit? If so, what make and model did you replace it with and how easy was the swap?

My 3200 seems to have died completely (still lights up), so I'm interested in this thread should anyone pipe in. I think we'll go to a car stereo as the selection of RV entertainment systems is very limited in my initial searches and not much quality in anything that fits our mounting location. We always have a laptop with us and can use that (HDMI output) for a DVD player should we ever need it. Can't remember the last time we used the DVD player. Now that I think of it, I don't think we ever have.
