I am considering removing the OEM Furrion Radio from my 2021 Eagle 25.5REOK. The stock radio is of dubious quality, and we do not use it, ever. We do not use it for CD, DVD, or radio. All TV is streamed, and all music is streamed or satellite. I know I am not alone in this assessment and that others replace the head unit with a more capable one.

My question however includes the possibility about what else to do when I remove the radio, and also what I will find in terms of wiring back there. I assume there is a harness that contains: 12v hot and neutral, and speaker wire to, I believe, two zones (It might be three zones?). There might be an HDMI cable routed back there - again I can not recall where Jayco routes that cable that can go to the TV since I do not use it.

I am considering just using the 12V power to add some 12v/USB type outlets in place of the radio. I am not against putting a different radio back in, but I am also not wedded to it. I have not looked in to options of simple hardware that would connect to the speaker and offer easy streaming without bothering with a radio tuner, but that could be an option. I suppose I am just looking for ideas as I think about next steps.

Background: We use a portable bluetooth for most music, or use one of the TVs. The stock TV was replaced long ago, and the new one provides adequate sound. We also have a TV which easily moves between the bedroom or Outdoor Kitchen.
