Galveston Island TX

Good morning! Going to be travelling east on I-10 to 45 going to Galveston Island. Towing our 29 RLC 5th wheel, any gotchas or issues I should be encountering? Should I go around I-10/45 interchange by taking a loop below? How about the bridge going into Galveston? Kinda concerned about the wind as it has been pretty active this month. Thanks for any feedback you can provide!

We travel to Galveston all the time and never had any issues with getting into or out of town.

Traveling through Houston is white knuckling. We go to Crystal Beach yearly (across the bay from Galveston) and by pass it. Anyway on TX FB groups its 50/50 with going through Houston
