I recently did the Seafoam carburetor flush on our 2018 Envoy class C. I was surprised that the exterior body cover had no means of holding it up while working on the generator. The living area slide out is directly above this, so that may have something to do with it.
Has anyone added a lift assist to theirs? I can't think of the proper name of the thing right now, but it's like what might keep your car hood up.

I use my forehead. Yep - less than optimal. :)

I tried some magnets, they worked ok.

Yes. I use my head in a variety of ways also, like checking the structural integrity of the slide out when I stand up.......

I can tell you, my slides are solid!!

I typically jam something in that generator door that kind of holds it up mostly. If I get real serious, I'll use a bungy cord...
