What am missing?
Looks like panel is charging, 8 amps, no faults, etc. In the one picture it shows the house battery at 12.6 and the other 12.4 and depleting. Only draw is residential fridge. Not sure the battery is actually charging.... thoughts??

I have the same questions about mine. It goes in Friday to have it looked at because I am not sure the solar is actually charging the batteries. Are you still using the four 6V AGM batteries for the coach?

Simple test is to turn off fridge and any other draws and test the voltage at the battery. Lead batteries should show over 13 volts when charging, lithium a bit more if your charger is lithium capable.

Another test is to see what the resting voltage, no charge or load, if 12 volts or lower for lead batteries than it is nearly dead. Many lithiums have bluetooth and report there status. That is one of the reasons I like my Renogy lithium and solar charge system as I always know what is happening.

Several good basic youtubes out there that help understand how your system works. Check what your batteries are Lead, AGM lead or lithium and do your research from there.

I agree that understanding the system is the key to the answer. Without such an understanding, I would suspect that the higher voltage and charge current is taken from the solar controller, and the lower voltage and current is taken from the battery. It wouldn't be uncommon to have a slightly higher voltage at the controller than at the battery due to a small voltage drop in the wiring. I would likely use my handy digital voltage meter on the battery itself and check the voltage and then determine if it is increasing or decreasing. Also, if you have a digital voltage/amp meter, you could easily determine the net result on the battery in regards to the current flow. For example perhaps you have 8 amps of charge current but with the refrigerator on and if the refrigerator requires 10 amps then the discharge on the battery would be 2 amps and would be seen with a clamp style digital DC amp meter. ~CA

Residential fridges are power hogs. Its possible your fridge is consuming more power than your solar is providing, thus the battery draw.

Something I discovered tonight that I had missed before. The Go Power Solar charger is set up so that "Battery 1" is the primary. It will not start charging "Battery 2" until #1 is at a full charge. My RV currently has "Battery 1" as the chassis battery. So until it is 100% charged (according to the settings in the controller) "Battery 2", in this case the house battery, will not begin charging. The batteries are wired backwards at the controller from the factory. So, if this matches your unit you are seeing a current draw from your house battery that is not being supported by your solar because your chassis battery is not fully charged.

Asking just to be clear for myself. The manual states that the fridge only runs on 120V when plugged into shore power or when the generator is on.

Does yours run the Fridge when the inverter is running?

If you have a 2014 then no, the refrigerator does NOT run from the inverter. Only the microwave, front TV, and bedroom TV are connected to the inverter from Jayco.
