Good morning from Sunny but cool Manitoba. Minus 13 C here this morning, hoping spring is just around the corner. This is our first Jayco as we bought a used 2008 Jayco Eagle 322FKS. Our first rv was a 1984 Bonair 1200, then we had a 2001 Forest River Sierra 30FKSS. We are really looking forward to the upcoming camping season and getting information from this sight.

Sunny here and 1 degree C, with still a thin layer of snow on the ground. Should be gone in a week or so.
Our first camping for 2011 will be the May 24 weekend at a local Provincial Park.

A fellow toban, welcome, Where are you from, I am in Brandon. I am starting to think this white stuff is never going to go. We just got back from winnipeg this afternoon, and they have nothing compared to us. You can see bare spots in their ditches and fields. Not so for us, still knee deep in it. Oh well as long as long as its still froze, it cant wash us away right.

We live in Moosehorn, two hours north of Winnipeg in the Interlake. We have a seasonal lot at Steep Rock on the east shore of Lake Manitoba.

I recall my only winter when I was stationed in Shilo, the furnace in our married quarter came on about the middle of Oct. and was still on when I left the military the next April. We used to wake up to snow drifts in our living room (not a lie) because these houses had no real insulation and were built during the Second World War. I sure remember the snow!!!!!

Just had the home A/C tuned up yesterday. Good thing, we'll be +100 F / +38 C by Friday.
