The greaseable shackles on my Pinnacle have the zerks facing toward the tires. It is almost impossible to get my lube gun fitting on them. I tried a 90 lube fitting on my gun but it would not work. I don't want to have to remove the tires every time I want to lube them so thinking about changing the zerks to ones that are 90 degrees. Would that work? I'm not sure what size they are or if they are SAE or metric. Anyone know?

The wet bolts I had installed on our TT have fittings with M6 X 1.0 pitch thread. That's just ours, and there are some brands that use a press-in zerk. I have no idea how many different thread sizes are used on other manufacturers. My zerk assortment in the shop has several sizes and threads in it. Best to take one off, and compare it at the parts store, to be positive.
