Greyhawk Slideout Adjustment

I own a 2013 Greyhawk 31FK with one large slide. (sofa and dinette) It runs in and out great. The only problem is I'd like it to seal a little tighter at the TOP to prevent rain from seeping in while traveling. How do you adjust the slide to make the top come in tighter? Bottom is tight, no problem.

No, but I'm sure that may be a good idea and solve the problem Thank you.

Yeah you really should use them. There is no other retention for the slide to stay in except the motor.

Check to see if you have two gear rails to move the slide out. Look at the connection point were these rails connect with the outer edge of the slide. There is a bracket that has set screws and a bolt that can be adjusted to raise or lower the slide. Raising it up should tilt the top in. Be sure to mark the adjustment screw so it can be reset to current if this causes any issues. Also adjusting this will change how the slide moves across the floor so I would make small adjustments to be sure you don’t cause any other issues. If you have something different for the mechanism please provide a photo to identify the type of system involved.

My 2009 Greyhawk has the same slide, at the end of rails you will see the bolts you have to loosen the one that clamps across the rail on each end then the other is adjustment for tilt it has a lock nut on the bolt you have to loosen. Mine is tilted in at the top slightly.When it is retracted the top touches first and when it is almost closed the bottom pulls up slightly. If yours is a Power Gear system you can go to the web site they have and it shows how to adjust.
