Sent note to Morryde asking about getting their wet bolt and heavy duty shackle kit installed near me. Within a couple hours I got a call from a local rv shop, even though they aren't listed by Morryde as a distributor. The guy told me that the kit would be $110, and two hours labor at $90 per hour.
I checked and could order that same kit for $68. We scheduled the install and I just picked it up.
I had them save the old parts and am attaching that photo. You can see that there was much wear on shackle holes, mostly on one end, and the two bolts in the shot have severe wear on each end.
Glad I had this done, and very surprised that the cost was so reasonable.
Kit $68
Labor/grease $139
Total $207

Did mine March 2018, had about 6000 miles on trailer. My buddy helped me with the job. Did they show you the bushings ? Glad I changed my bushings ! Purchased the morryde kit from amazon for around $90.

I did see one if the original plastic bushings. Was worn through in center and not much left to be doing anything.
Our fifth wheel has about 30,000 miles on it. Been busy. Seeing the amount of wear folks had on much less miles, plus the creaking and pop noises when raising/lowering landing gear bad me anxious to have this done.
