I am likely over thinking this, but might as well just ask the questions...

I've noticed that there is a better way to configure the bathroom in our TT, given that the toilet paper holder is at exactly knee height and I tend to jam my knee into it when I step out of the shower. It is only a matter of time before I mistakenly rip it off the wall.

So, is there any reason for me not to relocate it to the wall beside the toilet instead of across from it? And will a standard studfinder do the trick, or is there something I am not considering here?

While I am moving the TP roll, I might as well put in an overhead shelf too. Right now there is a ton of wasted space and never enough places to put the shower stuff etc.

Go ahead and move it. Contact Jayco with your vin number and ask for the wall drawings and they will send them to you. Find a screw on the outside wall, remove it and use it to determine the maximum screw length.
