Hello from Delaware

or as some say Delawhere??? We are first time Jayco owners. This is our third travel trailer. Previously we also owned a motorcycle popup and a home built Teardrop. I have camped since I was 10 and a Boy Scout. My wife only in the last 15 years or so. So we have camped in tents, in popups, tiny trailers and a long 30 foot travel trailer. We are still searching for the perfect combination of tow vehicle and trailer for retirement and long trips.

We look forward to making new friends here and gaining insight into the Jaycos.

Gee, I always thought is was "What did Della wear...?". Anyway, Welcome to the forums. We've camped in Delaware many times since our first (tent) campout there back in the middle 80's at Cape Henlopen SP. Rehoboth Beach and 3 Seasons Camp Resort were among our favorites. After 3 Seasons closed, we tried another campground nearby and it just couldn't match what 3 Seasons had to offer. We haven't camped in Rehoboth (or any beach resorts) since our last visit to Rehoboth in 2005.

Welcome to JOF from Northeast Ohio! Tacoma is a great tow vehicle, just make sure you visit the scales to ensure you are not overloading the vehicle. Our x20e was too heavy with all of our stuff, causing us to upgrade to a Tundra.

FPM III, I'm a native and have only camped the beaches less than 6 times. Too much sand for me. I actually prefer PA state parks.

Heady, My Tacoma seems to strain a bit but gets the job done so far. Been to Butler a few times with the Tearjerkers. Really liked Ohio around there. Lehmans too. Love the Amish style stuff.

We are headed to Orlando via Atlanta soon. So the trailer, truck and my butt will all get a real work out. Stay safe and travel well.
