... and I'm a Jayco owner. I've lurked here frequently over the past year but am just starting to post. I have a 2011 Eagle 324BHDS that I drag around with a 2008 v10 F-250. The bunkhouse slide room with 3 bunks is a perfect fit for a family of 5.
This is our third travel trailer but first Jayco. The first two were Fleetwoods and we were very happy with that line, we just slowly outgrew them. Jayco had come in 2nd both times so it was a natural choice this time around when we were looking to upgrade. So far, it looks like a pretty good choice.
Jayco was very easy to work with when ordering the trailer last year. I wanted a couple of mfgr installed upgrades, specifically lights in all three of my outside storage compartments plus lights under both entry steps. The Jayco rep said "Sure, no problem and no additional charge". I should point out that these features were standard with Fleetwood.
If I had one question today, it would be why in the heck is the gray tank handle under the slide room. It makes it very difficult to pull and drain when camping. The dealer did give us an awning rod that can I use to grab the handle which seems to work ok. Anyone know of anything else that I should be on the lookout for?
