Hi my names Ashlee, husband recently bought a 2019 JAY FLIGHT 298BH. I came here bc we have never owned and rv before and can’t quite figure out our hot water. We can’t seem to get the water to be hot. Can anyone help?

First thing to check is to make sure that your water heater bypass valves are open. If your trailer was winterized before you took delivery, they very well may have been closed.

Ps usually there is switches for the gas heater or electric heater. Make sure the propane regulator is sealed tightly and the valve is on. Also there is an automatically switched tank selector. Also check to make sure you have propane.

Congrats on the new memory maker and, welcome to JOF ! Before switching on anything for the water heater, make sure the heater tank has water in it. Your dealer should have walked you guys thru every system in the trailer - a process that would take a couple hours if done properly. Keep asking here, lots of great folks willing to help
