Could someone please offer some insight. I have a 2017 JayFlight 23RB, and wanted to familiarize myself with tire changes before our next big trip. I cannot figure out how to remove my wheels. The owners manual is useless as it is too generic. Tried the YouTube method but I cannot find a video with similar wheels. I'm guessing the lug nuts have plastic covers? If so, I cannot figure out how to remove them. Any help would be appreciated.

So you are saying that you put the proper size socket (3/4") on the lug nuts and the "outer covers" are just spinning???

I tried to use a socket, but realized what I thought was the lug nuts appear to be plastic covers. Called the service department and they said they should pull right off, but I'm not having any luck.

I had a similar problem on a Volkswagan a few years back. Turned out there was a small little pry tool in the glove box to remove the covers. Grrrr. The next weekend I went and bought all new solid lug nuts. Sold the car years later without having another flat.

Your rims are different than mine, but I have some type of cheap chrome covers on each lug nut. Put the correct socket on the nut and give it a spin. I have damaged a few of them over the years. I too have replaced those damaged nuts with solid lug nuts. I have a few spare in my tool box.
