Hey everyone, I need some assistance.

I'm in an Rv park on the California coast and my propane system has stopped working. This was noticed right after I had both tanks refilled at this location. Everything worked fine last night but now no propane seems to be getting through the system.

I have tried lighting the stove but nothing is coming out.

Also: I bottomed out this trailer (x213) today on California Hwy 1 around a hair-pin turn where the option was put a wheel off the side or run through an oncoming car. The damage was a rear stabilizer jack. Nothing else. The propane system is not close to this area so it shouldn't be impacted.

Any ideas.

I had a similar issue and it turned out to be the pigtail between the tank and the regulator. However odd that you would have the problem with both tanks. I would close both tanks, remove the connector, then reinstall, then SLOWLY open the valve. Make sure you open the tank valve slowly so that you don't accidentally activate the leak failsafe.

Yep. Just did that after reading a similar post. Works fine now. Had to to the famous...take apart...swear at it...put it back...slowly turn on.

Dinner is saved!

Open the propane tank valve slowly.....if you open the valve too quick, the excessive gas could trigger the excessive flow valve to keep the gas from flowing. It is a safety device on the propane tank

Glad to hear that was a quick fix.
Sorry to hear about your close call on hwy 1 in Cali.
Just went through that area a few weeks ago and it definitely has some hairy curves.

We seem to be getting a lot of BBQ returns at work due to the grills "not heating up". We suspect people are not used to the new valves that won't open if turned on too fast. They should put labels on the tanks. At least it was a simple fix!
