Help with door side slide on 2021 312BHOK

Hi,

The door side main slide on my 2021 312BHOK will not slide out. With that slide in I can't get into the unit to get the manual.

Note: The other 2 slides work fine. Unit is powered with AC while I am trying to do this.

I am trying to manually get the slide out. Hoping that it just needs a nudge or a reset. Jayco support said it has a through frame hole. That i can stick the manual crank through to get the slide going.

The Eagles have skirting that is only about 6 inches from the frame.

How am I supposed get the manual crank into the opening that is blocked by the skirting?

There is a hole in the skirt to access the spare tire under the rig. So seems odd that no hole for the slide.

Has anyone had to do this? If so did you have to bend or remove the skirting to get the crank into the frame?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you look underneath to see if there was an access panel cut into the coroplast? If so you may able to use a ratchet & socket.

Looks like you should stick it through the frame, p68 of the manual or 70 of the pdf

I had a similar issue with my bunkhouse slide in my ‘20 312BHOK. I opened the precut area in the underbelly, located the slide motor and found an electrical connector had disconnected. I reattached and secured with electrical tape. No issues since.

Thanks for the manual!

It shows either there is a bar sticking out of frame or it is under the belly. As I do not see any metal rods sticking out of frame. It must be under belly.

There is a large coroplast "patch" on opposite side from slide. Starts at the frame rail and goes about 18" inwards.

I am going head back open the patch and see what Is there.

That is where the through frame slide motor is and according to Lippert, a person needs to use a ratchet and socket to manually operate the slide in or out.

Lippert states "DO NOT USE A POWER" tool to operate as it will put undue stress on the gear box and motor and may damage these items.

I believe it stated to use a 3/4" socket
