Help
I Have a travel trailer, that is only three years old.
And there is a recall on it.
I don't want to bring it back to dealer. They hold it for ransom. And it 6 or 7 months before you get it back, maybe.
I tried to get part from Jayco. With no luck.
I own a Appliance repair business.
Any ideas on how to get part?

Let's start with what the recall is for. Something that Jayco builds or something like the fridge, air conditioner or something like that that is controlled by another manufacturer. If it is a part of the RV that Jayco built then it will have to go back to them. If it is some other component you likely can take it to any local RV repair shop that does warranty repair for that item. You can take it there.

As an example, your fridge might be made by Dometic. Any RV shop that does warranty work for them can make the repair, work through them and get reimbursed without you paying anything.

What part? I just bought a new propane regulator versus a 250 mile round trip to the dealer for a recall replacement. 13 mpg x $4 a gallon = more than a new regulator.
On the few warranty issues I had, my dealer let me text pics that they forwarded to jayco for approval. Did the repairs without even unhitching my trailer. In and out in under 3 hours.
