Hot water heater comes on than Kicks off.water won't get hot. Any ideas?

Can you tell us what Jayco model you have or what brand of water heater your rig has? Is it dual gas/electric?

I got it don't what I was thinking.I have a 04 granite ridge,and for some reason I thought the heater was bypassed on panel. I was trying to fire empty tank. checked pop off no water.so after got water it worked on gas and electric. dumb move on my part. but thanks for the reply's
