Well, we are new members to this forum but are not actually new to the Jayco family. We have owned 2 Jayco RVs since 2004 and have been active in a Jayco camping club ever since. I have been camping in one form or another since the late 60's first in tents and then moving up to a new Starcraft popup (of course now part of the Jayco family (sort of). We purchased a '97 Jayco Eagle 29FL Class C motorhome in 2004 (used of course) and loved it. It took us to visit Glacier National Park towing a '97 Jeep Grand Cherokee and lots of other places with our club campouts including a few Jafari International Rallys.
We then purchased the '05 Jayco Granite Ridge 3100SS Class C motorhome in 2010 (it has a big slideout). Oh yah, we did sell our old one thru eBay.
We really love our rig and plan to use it even more after the wife, Frieda, retires at the end of March this year.
Just so happens I am in the process of replacing the wiper seal on the slide out having already removed the old one, prepped the area & purchased the new seal. Today is the big day for installation. I'll let ya'll know how it goes.
