Hitch height for 2017 Jayco Jay flight 175

Hi. We will be towing a 2017 Jayco Jay flight 175 (rental) with our RAM 1500 and i would like to know the hitch height for this trailer. Want to make sure i have the right setup on my truck when i pick it up.

I would suggest that you call the rental company and ask the height of the coupler to the ground on a level trailer. That way no guessing. Also verify the hitch ball diameter.

I did ask the owner and her response was she did not know the height (it’s rented through private owners, not a business), hence my question here.

The trailer I have now and my previous trailer measured 24 inches from the ground to the coupler. Both had 15 inch tires.

Regardless of what your research turns up, be prepared to adjust the height when you are hooking up.
