I have to go pick up the trailer from having the brakes adjusted tonight and I don't want to back it into our alley when I get home so I was just going to park it in the street overnight. Can I just keep my trailer hitched over night? I would keep the trunnion and sway bars on ready to go for the morning. Is there any reason I shouldn't do that? I'd unhitch it but the city won't allow that.
It would be parked just like this for about 17 hours

I do it often and I've never had any problem. When I am on the road and I plan to spend only a single night and leave early, if the campsite allows it, I'll leave the truck hooked up then also. Makes packing up to leave much easier.

We have left ours hooked up several days at a time. I just put a block down and use the power jack to take some of the weight off the truck and to help level it so the refrigerator can run.
