I have a truma heater and only get 2-4 minutes of hot water. What am I missing. I run it on propane most of the time. I got a 45 code that I have to reset any tips tired of unhappy wife

I’m assuming that the Truma is an “Instant” water heater. I looked it up and found the only error codes I could find. It only went to 33 codes. So, not able to know what a 43 means.
As I said, I’m assuming that you have an instant water heater. For them to work, they must have enough water flow or will shut down. With the water restrictors in showers, you typically cannot get enough flow using hot and cold water. They suggest that you find your perfect water temperature that you like to take a shower in, and set the water heater to that temp. Run straight hot water, no cold. This usually has enough flow to keep it working, unless you slow it down. So everybody gets their temp number. When doing dishes, crank it back up.

Thank you. I have the instant heater. The code i thought I had is actually the temp setting. I will try that suggestion.
