i have been watching this section , and noticed lack of activity compared to other sections on forum. are there really that few toy hauler owners compared to other styles of jayco campers? ::scratchhead:

Yep so true. I have a Octane 161 that I use mainly for weekends at the track but also for weekend camping. It is perfect for us.

I wish. My wife refuses to "have that filthy thing where I sleep and eat", and I can't afford any monstrous garage model.

Have a Octane T29A, haul a Harley Dresser and 2 Labrador Retrievers. When son and daughter-in-law with us, 2 Harley dressers and 3 Labs. Love it. Went with 29 over 26 for larger bathroom and more kitchen space (keep wife happy). Only downside is gas mileage, it is a large barn wall going into any headwind.

We have a 2013 Seismic. All good for long term except the lounge seating in the kitchen, which will be changed out in spring. Minor warranty issues. Pulls well, with RZR and BIG tool box in the garage. The Lab van't wait for unloading when we park. Then the garage is hers. Have had some visitors who slept ion the bunks in the garage. Said they were good sleeping. We slept on the bunks for a couple of nights and I missed the memory foam! Have traveled from Indiana to Colorado to Oregon and now Arizona.

We are also getting rid of the lounge seating, it is really uncomfortable and not very usable, Jayco really missed the boat on this design!

i have a 3914 also. am curious what you dont like about seating . the unit i have has a couch with extendable seating on each end .i assume you have same layout . what is the change you have in mind ?

The 3210 has a small slide out with lounge seating. Cushions are flattening out and need to be pushed back on the base every time you get out. I put bath mats under which helps some. It's just a hassle to slide in and out all the time. We are thinking about replacing with a small loveseat and a recliner for the DH? Then will decide if we really need a table or not. Any one else with ideas?

We find them uncomfortable to sit in , keep sliding out, the rounded corners make it hard to lounge in them, I cut 20 " out of the middle of the table turning it to two, that helped access! I plan to remove everything when back from Florida and put a chair ( not sure what style yet) at either end and make a storage cabinet for middle with top that pulls out and swings in front of chairs to eat at.

Now back to original question- we bought the Seismic 3210 because we are traveling with a RZR 570 and a 92 pound Black Lab! Life is great!

We have a 3210 and also find the seating not great. TV watching is very poor from the seating area especially for anyone sitting closer to the garage. We also
agree with the problem of sliding in behind the table, might look at cutting the table in two. The seating is not very comfortable, cushions flatten out
quickly. Thinking about it (I thank the OP for that) we are very disappointed with it.

first fifth wheel

Hi I just traded my 2010 octane zx 29a for a seismic 3812 I hope it tows easier than it looks!

Congrats on your new unit . Your new fifth wheel should be a lot more tow friendly than a bumper hitch . I started with a octane in 2008 , then moved to a 5er and never looked back . More weight but much more stable going down the road .

I have a 2014 Seismic 3210 and have been traveling in florida for two months some minor problems other wise a great unit I have added a recliner next to the lounge seating also thinking of taking out and replacing but seems to be built in to slide might be a difficult remove any body have ideas on how to do that.

I think it's just attached to the slide floor. Ours is coming out as soon as we get back to WI in spring.

We would love to see that maybe we could meet up when we come to Wisconsin at the end of July for the Oshkosh Air show
We will be camping at Kalabus in Oshkosh would like to remove our lounge and replace with recliners and table with drawers in middle

Does this count?

2013 Baja 10G with 2012 Polaris Sportsman 500. It's a tight fit, but my '06 Tacoma tows it well with an Equil-I-Zer WD hitch!

Sorry it took so long to see this, I don't get notifications from this site very often! Maybe I don't have something set up right?

Anyhow, no, the deck is not useable when set up. The front slide-out covers it!
