We were camping at Tybee Island GA a few years ago, and took a day trip up to Hunting Island State Park just to check it out... It was an awesome park, with a great natural beach... It is definitely on the agenda of places to camp in the future...

I was there last Christmas week, and saw some small tar balls, plus there was a huge tar deposit down towards the lighthouse. It must have been 20 feet wide and 50 feet long.

Other than that it was great. Saw several porpoises. Or were they dolphins?
