The lower HWH by-pass valve in my 24RBS rests against the floor and doesn't allow for adequate finger clearance underneath it to operate the valve.
It can be done, but not without flexing the PEX line a little. Also, these type of plastic valves seem to require an extra amount of effort to open/close.
This set-up has "future failure" written all over it....., may have to consider a preventative fix.
I wonder if the heating element is still located behind the electrical box (?)...., if so, can the element be replaced without having to remove the whole HWH? My last Jayco Atwood HWH element was installed at a downward angle but the HWH heater was mounted on a raised wood platform allowing for socket wrench access...., not mounted at floor level.
