I-95

I'd love to invest three times what we did in Afghanistan on our own country's roads and infrastructure. To bad Congress doesn't.

I 95

My first trip down I 95 from Hartford, CT to Ft Lauderdale was Spring Vacation 1961. I 95 was only 1/2 done, the rest was on 301. Many of the interstates we have been on were 45 mph to avoid teeth rattling. Upper portion of PA I 81 and I 84 about the worst. Some years ago, I 90 from MT to ID required driving around the big cracks in the road. TN is quite good, but FL is the best with no freeze lifts in their roads.

Stop building new roads. Fix what we have now. If you can’t maintain what we have now why make more. When a road is nothing but cold patch and crack sealer it needs paved.
