What do you think of the idea of having a Jayco "Mobile RV Technician" information page so when we need a Technician we can look at recommendations from other Jayco Owners.

We are in Yellowstone, arrived last night, and slide would not extend. Luckily park had a list of local techs, but I would be happier if a Jayco owner had actually used them.

Interestingly, one of the one's mentioned by another owner has closed down due to Covid. So if we do implement this idea I would suggest we emphasize the date of repair.

This isn’t a bad idea. I had a furnace issue last winter and had a mobile service tech talk me through it over the phone and saved me a trip charge. I’d have gladly put his info on here with his permission. I’d make that suggestion, making sure the tech was ok with his info being added to the site. :campfire:

Great idea! We had brake issues this summer and the campground did not have a mobile tech list. Fortunately I found one on Google and he talked me through the repair. I would totally recommend him.

I'll set it up in the "Jayco Maintenance and Repair" forum for you. Include as much info as you can on the mobile tech such as:

Name of tech, or his business.
The city and state he's in.
Phone number.
Website if there is one.

And any other information that would be of help.

Excellent idea. Hard enough to find a good local restaurant when camping let alone an good Mobile RV tech to call when you need one.
