I am planning to install a backup camera on my 2016 321 FW. It came pre-wired for a rear camera.
How do I find out where the wire is, so that I only have to drill one hole in the FW? I know that it is somewhere near the top center of the rear of the FW.
If any of you have installed your own, any info would be nice.

Pop out the center marker light. Pull up the wiring carefully. It will have scotch lock connectors between the marker light wires and the light feed wires so you will need to wiggle and twist it to get them thru the marker light hole
The wire for the camera should be attached to the marker light feed wires with tape.

Note: our 2017 has a camera on/off switch in the water hookup bay. Up high on the rear. Make sure it's turned on if you have the switch!

If you can't find the wire on the light harness you can tap into the marker light wiring. Just means you turn your lights on to power the camera.

Thank you for the info. Yes, I also have the SW in the water bay area.
Planning ahead, still winter here in Wisconsin. About 4–6 weeks away from being able to do any work on the 5er.

Ours cuts out at times. Usually in a dip or turn in road. At other times it's rock solid. I have added the cable to move antenna closer to front of trailer. Mounted on side of living rm AC cover Still does it. I think the signal gets blocked trying to go thru the trailer into the truck.
Ours is a fisheye lenses so you see up close to trailer but vehicle following you at a reasonable distance is pretty small.
