Hello all, we just got our first fifth wheel a north point 375bhfs. Last night was our first night in the unit. We will have it plugged in all year on our permanent site at our campground. Through the night I had noticed that the voltage on the xantrex display inside and on the inverter itself below kept slowly dropping. Now this morning neither one of them are on at all. Everything but the electric hot water heater is working perfectly fine as of now at 1225. If anyone can contact me in regards to this in how to correct the problem please feel free.

If you are plugged into shore power, your inverter should be turned off. There's no need for it to be on since you are running off the cord. I think in my class A the display will not even come on when on shore power.

As for everything working except the electric water heater, does the water heat up with gas still?

You should check the voltage of your house batteries to see if they have a problem. While on shore power, they should be charging so you will want to unplug the cord and let the unit sit for at least 15 minutes to let the batteries release the excess charge. In fact, after you unplug, turn on the inverter to see if you get anything on the display. But turn it off before you check the battery voltage with an actual voltmeter.

Good luck!

Sounds to me like a converter problem. If you were plugged in the voltage would stay steady with a properly working converter. My inverter is a pass through and I never turn it off. Do you have a 12 volt meter? How about your 12 volt battery disconnect?
