I have a 2025 Jayco Jay Flight SLX 261BHS and the standard fridge is the InVision. The original fridge had immediate condensation problems on the back wall. Really bad. Everything has been tried. The first fridge and now the replacement fridge have been through every type of temperature and humidity. It is not ambient temp/humidity. The problem is also to big for simple things like baking soda. Both fridges-same problem. It's really bad and on the back wall. I thought that maybe it could be the furnace being located under the fridge but the problem exists even when the furnace isn't used. Fridge and freezer temps hold fine. Tried higher and lower temps as well. I'm thinking I may have to push Jayco for a different type of fridge. I am out of ideas. Any ideas not already mentioned?

That sounds bizarre . If I am reading you correctly, this is inside? I guess folks have had some success with the 12 volt fridges. But there are plenty negative posts dealing with them. I gave up on my Everchill and learned that the 2025 models switched brands for the fridges. I ended up going with the residential style and wired my inverter to operate it. I was lucky to find one that fit the stock cabinet. I did add some additional venting areas to my cabinet for good measure.

We have the exact same camper & fridge, and we noticed the condensation on the back as well. My thought about it was that was the side that was exposed to the sunshine while sitting in our driveway, so that's what had caused the condensation (awning not out). This is our first camper so we did not know this was a common issue.

Not to hijack/derail the thread, but does the Oven indicator flicker when stove is off and on shore power?

Overhead oven light goes crazy when I use the kitchen sink :cautious:. Nothing but problems with this 2025 SLX since day one.

Thanks for the feedback. My guess is they are defective. It looks like it's raining on the back wall.

I would make a wild guess and bet the light is flickering with the pulsating of your freshwater pump, which can happen when you do not have your faucet open enough to make your freshwater pump run constantly. Check and see if the two goes hand in hand. This can also be worse with a more extreme dimming if your 12 volt system is low on charge.

Do you have a lot of overhead lights on at the same time? One lead acid battery as standard delivery package is fairly minimum and can create some issues of low power if you have a lot of components on drawing 12 volt..

Yea, makes sense. It's probably the water pump stove light combo.

Have the same camper and fridge also noticed condensation in the fridge. After camping we had to wipe it down and leave the fridge open or I was worried it'd grow mold, stink. I'll watch it on our next camping trip to see how bad it gets. Probably just a cheap fridge with not enough insulation.

Interested to hear how it goes. If yours continues to do it then it's time to hit up Jayco for a different replacement. They may need to recall these things.

Anytime you get condensation it’s due to warm air contacting a cold surface, just like your favorite bubbly will sweat in the summertime . So if you haven’t, I’d check the seal/gasket on the refrigerator doors . You can do the infamous dollar bill test by opening the door and putting a dollar bill across the seal then close the door and pull on the dollar. You should feel a tension or some restriction while pulling it out. If it pulls out easily or drops out then the seal isn’t doing its job. You can also try folding the bill in half and try pushing it in, where it should not go in easily. These test should be performed along the entire seal and around the hinges as well. It’s also possible the door is out of alignment allowing warm air through the seal.

Since they are made by Airxcel (Coleman) I'm surprised you're having issues. Have you contacted them to see what they have to say?
Tried all their different ideas. This is the second fridge because nothing worked. A poster above said they have the same problem. I'm waiting for them to call me back to let them know it's not just one fridge. Thanks for the input.

The seal seems to be fine. This is the second fridge and another poster said they have the same problem. Very strange. Waiting for Airxcel to call me back. Thanks for the input.

Same fridge and trailer, same issue with condensation. Sometimes it's ice, sometimes it's water, but it's always there. Let us know if you get resolution.

Yep, that's the exact problem. I told them that many people have this same problem and they need to do a recall. They sent some warranty form to fill out. They wanted to replace the fridge again with the same fridge...again. Been there done that. I told them they need to figure out how to replace these fridges with a different fridge all together. We'll see

Ours does this too, but not enough to be a real problem and seems to do better if the fridge is full.

I'm glad to hear this is a common problem. I purchased a new Jayco 212QB last August. I also discovered a lot of condensation on the back inside wall of the InVision refrigerator. The fridge did not seem to be cooling appropriately either. I suspected that the thermostat may have been causing that problem. But, the dealership has had the camper for 5 weeks now, said they ordered a part (don't know what) and I'm waiting to hear if the issues have been fixed. I definitely agree that Jayco needs to consider a different brand of refrigerator following a recall of these InVision units.
