Is it OK to run A/C all night in campground?

When we camped in popups, the very first thing that we did upon spotting the rig, even before leveling, was to connect the shore power. This was to get the refrigerator cooling again (didn't have a built in with propane option). The next thing after leveling was to crank up the roof. Before the beds were pulled out the A/C was turned on and not shut off again until just before the roof was lowered to close up, no matter how long the stay. We camped along the Alabama & Florida Gulf Coast. Without the cool air and the noise of the fan to block out other sounds, life in a popup in the summer months would not be very enjoyable.
