[Texas Bill]

We bought a 2013 Jay Feather in June. We did a test run over night in July but at camp ground. Tomorrow (in Dec) we are going to an event and had planned to use the trailer as a sort of base camp BUT we will having to run off the battery. Went to check it today and zero power. Had the battery checked, they said slightly low but it after a charge (which they did) it should be fine. Still zero power. Is there a button I'm missing? Totally new to the RV thing so forgive this, I hope, very noob question.

The only items that will run off of your batteries are the 12-volt systems. These include your water pump, furnace, etc. None of your standard household outlets will work unless you are plugged in to shore power or connected to a generator.

If none of your 12-volt systems are working, there is usually a 30 amp fuse in the circuit near the battery that could be faulty.

Jayco is a little sneaky in that the fuse near the battery may be attached to the front of the RV in a little plastic container over the outside. About an inch across. There will be another fuse in the distribution box that also produces 12 volts as well as the other AC fuses. Try watching this youtube and maybe some more to understand how your system works.

If you have lights, water pump, and radio your 12v system is functioning properly.

Sure. By zero power I mean nothing is working off of just the 12v. No interior lights, no awning, no water pump etc.

I would start by finding that 30a fuse and make sure that it isn't blown.

Yeah thought of the fuses but they are good.

At 8 years old I'd check all the 12 volt ground connections, and the wire connections in the distribution box. Usually mounted on the frame, where the battery and 7 pin cable enter. Connections are made with household style wire nuts, and can lose connectivity, or corrode. I replaced our box with a Pollak plastic distribution box, and found the grounds starting to get fuzzy. We have a 2012 TT. Close to your year rig.

Yeah maybe. I'm not the greatest mechanic though traced the line via the roadside on call guy and didn't find one.
