Trying to Winterize my 2024 Jayco Jay Flight 324bds
We have the on demand hot water tank. Can’t get the
Pump to pull the antifreeze out of the jug. Pump won’t even come on

Well the obvious question would be did you turn the selector valve on the line plumbed into the pickup line from the tank that goes to the pump so that it diverts the suction side of the pump to the winterizing line in the gallon jug. If you did not turn it, then the pump should not come on when your camper freshwater lines are up to pressure.

Well if the valve is open and the pump is not running, two things, has the pump been pumping lately? If so tap on the pressure switch and see if the pump comes on. You can also take a electric meter and check for power to the pump at the red and black wire with a faucet open too.

There was a thread recently in one of the subsections, where the owner couldn't pump anti freeze into his RV.

I don't remember the exact solution, but the recommendations were;
- check the screen at the hose connector inlet for debris
- remove the screen
- raise the anti freeze jug a little higher so the pump doesn't have to draw the liquid as high.

One or all of the above solved that owner's problem.

After checking for power at the pump, it pays to open one or more of the nearby faucets so the pump has less work to do to pump the air out of the intake line.
