I'm loving my Jayco except for one little glitch. :help: The pilot light on the water heater is so small. I'll light it manually after heating the thermocouple and I'll have hot water. But it will blow out so darned easily. Is there any fix to enable it to not tap out at the slightest breeze?? Not a big deal in warm weather but it purely sucks to have to go through that on a cold morning. Thanks in advance.

There should be an adjustment on the control valve. That will allow a larger pilot.

You'll have to get the technical manual out for your valve.

Not a normal customer adjustment.

Unfortunately according to what I've been able to find so far the Robert Shaw type unit that I have no longer has an adjustable pilot. It appears that I will have to either find a way to increase the gas pressure or perhaps replace the orfice itself. And yes the cover is closed after light off.
