That's interesting. I have a 2022 212QBW and I have just a single red and single black that drop down to the controller. Mine came factory installed, so I didn't do it myself. Then from the controller another red/black run off to the battery and chassis ground. Are you sure they are loops? I'm wondering if they are just looped back around as they are long leads. Have you tried pulling in either direction to see if one end is more free than the other?
Is the loop on the roof or in the wall? If it is in the wall, then yeah, I can see a loop as it probably runs all the way up to the roof.
Assuming in the wall, if you cut the loop, the only way to determine what end goes to the roof is to find the roof end and do a continuity test. Connect an ohm meter to both ends, if there is a reading then they are connected. If no reading, it's not connected. A cheap way of doing this is with a flashlight lightbulb and a D-cell battery and some long wires to clip onto the trailer's wires. Or buy a continuity tester from an automotive store or Harbor Freight and a spool of wire to run the leads all the way up to the roof.
