Forgive my ignorance but we are brand new to the world of RVing. We purchased a 2025 Greyhawk 30Z from the show in Hershey last year. Our son will be playing baseball in college and we thought this would be a perfect way for us to see all the away games. We've been to a couple campgrounds but haven't had anyone sleep in the bunk over the driver's seats yet, but it appears that putting bedding on up there could possibly cause a nervous breakdown and would require a contortionist. Does anyone have tips for making the bed up there? We will have friends with us in a few weeks and they will need to sleep up there.
Thanks in advance!

For sleeping above the cab (and in the dinette) consider using sleeping sacks/bags. They can be found on Amazon. Each person could have their own. A lightweight sleep sack is most versatile. A fleece blanket on top adds warmth but no weight. One blanket could be used to cover 2 people sleeping together. be sure that the cab over bunk will take the combined weight of the people sleeping up there.

We're in a very similar unit to the 30Z and our son's bedroom is up there. He's had that spot for years! :)

We bought a queen sized mattress topper. What we do it pull the topper off, then make up the fitted bottom sheet, then slide the topper back up into place. The topper's firm 3" foam so it's not hard. Plus as he got bigger, he appreciated the extra cushion over the pitiful Jayco mattress.

I don't worry about the flat sheet. :) The pillows just get tossed up there.

Also we don't use the Jayco ladder. We have a foldable step stool for working on the bedding up there.

Clarifications please.

Do you pull off the topper, put the fitted sheet on the topper, then put the topper back up over the mattress ignoring the mattress?

"I don't worry about the flat sheet." Do you not use the flat sheet at all?

How many people does it take to do this?

Correct - pull the topper off the Jayco "mattress", install fitted on topper only, plop topper back on top. Jayco mattress is ignored.

Nope, our son doesn't use the flat sheet.

One.
