Hello all . New here . I have owned Jayco fifth wheels in the past . And okay with the quality of them as they were the older ones . I am going to look at a 1994 Hunter 950 Slide in bed camper . The pics look good so far but we all know how pics are sometimes deceiving . Are there any here familiar with this camper ? Can get it for around $1500.00 to $2000.00

Didn't even know they made slide in campers at one time....

I was a freshman in high School in 1994.

You would very brave to buy a 30+ year old camper. However if it was stored indoors, used infrequently and maintained you may be fine. I’m sure by now any inherent problems with that unit have been solved. If it was stored outside covered with leaves and mold that would be another story. I think at the price point your speaking of the condition of the unit is the most important factor. If it’s in great cosmetic shape in and out I say go for it. As anyone on this site can attest to even new RV’s can have problems.
