Could someone tell me what runs on 110 volts and what only works on battery , Also what charges the battery . Tried Jayco web site and dealer I purchased and no answers. Thanks to any one

Converter, micro wave, water heater, and all regular outlets.
Lights and other 12 voltage stuff off the converter.
Those are most I may have missed some.

Ac microwave and charger run on 120v only. Water heater heater is instant heater and uses 12v and gas. Charger is built into wall down low in kitchen. Its supposed to auto switch to lithium but mine will not switch over. the option with the inverter has a 12v to 120v inverter in the ls front basement. I think it only powers the front 1/2 of the rv outlets and tv. It will not run av or microwave. Refreg is 12v only.

yes it will, that is what the built in converter or battery charger does. I think its output is around 40a. Does the one you are looking at have the solar package?

thanks for
answering me will all the 12v stuff work off shore power

I dont know its fruitless asking dealer anything . Their not patience with newbies . I am more than thankful your answering my questions. Taking 2 weeks for delivery

In the beginning for most people new to the rv thing they will experience numerous issues with dealership help that actually answers questions correctly and with patience that helps people further understand their rigs. While you still need to be wary of some folks answering questions on internet forums, in most cases you will get a series of answers that will provide an answer to the actual question to solve your needs at a moments notice.

This may also take place faster than trying to get something answered from a dealer service department. If at all possible avoid taking your rv back to a service department if its something that does not include the axles falling out from underneath of your rig.

Okay one more question what size hose goes to fresh water connection one person said 5/8 and the other said get 1/2 inch hose ?

Before delivery inspect the front outside wall. Is there any kinks in the fiberglass along the outside edges where it bends around the top curve of the wall? If yes you need a new factory wall skin, those kinks will crack. Several of us have had the problem with the 21mml. And you want a New wall from the factory, dont let them build a wall out of lauan.

Yes i am told it only charges battery. One sales guy said water heater only worked on Propane. The guy delivered it today day and said water heater worked on 120 volts . Who knows ? Not jayco

The tankless water heaters do work on 12 volt, when not plugged in. This is essential to the normal function of your camper for a day to day use. My on demand water heater has a control panel that I sit the temperature on and it comes on when the hot water side of your faucets are opened and operated. I will note that before my water gets hot, approx 3/4 gallon of water is required, plus or minus. I do have a spare gallon water jug that I catch the water in before it gets hot when I am concerned about having enough water for my needs. Then I return it to my freshwater tank fill. I even use it for an essential rinse of my dishes sometimes.

So this plays it own role on consumption of the limited amount of freshwater in the tank and also if you let the water go down the drains, your grey water tank gets fuller for its own limited capacity for off the grid or independent use when not plugged in and you have assess to refilling your tanks and dumping them.

Many of the 6 gallon built in water heaters do have two features to heat the water. Normally on the control panels there are two switches.

One will be marked for electric and the other will be gas. When your camper is plugged in the electric feature works. For a really quick heat up and recovery we used to use both the propane and the electric when we were plugged in.
